Women's Ministry
@ Cameron Baptist Church, Lawton
Our Women’s Ministry exists to help women grow in their relationship with Christ, build meaningful friendships, and use their God-given gifts to encourage and serve others.
Led by Women’s Ministry Director Sharon Moon, our ministry is supported by a leadership team currently made up of 16 dedicated ladies. This team helps plan events, organize ministry projects, welcome new participants, and create opportunities for women of every age and season of life to connect. The leadership team is always open to new members. Any lady who would like to serve, share ideas, help with events, or become more involved is warmly invited to join us. There is a place for every woman and every gift.
Fellowship, Faith, and Fun: Throughout the year, Cameron Baptist Church Women’s Ministry hosts a variety of events designed to strengthen faith and deepen friendships. One of our annual highlights is the Women’s Retreat Simulcast, a special opportunity to enjoy biblical teaching, worship, encouragement, and fellowship together. Our Easy-Peasy Recipe Event combines food, creativity, and community. Ladies submit their favorite recipes in advance, and those recipes are collected into a special cookbook that is given to participants at the event. It is a wonderful way to share family favorites, discover new meals, and enjoy time around the table. During our Fall Craft Fellowship, ladies gather for a relaxed and creative time of crafting, conversation, laughter, and encouragement. Along with these special gatherings, we host additional events throughout the year that help women connect with one another and grow together in Christ.
Serving With Compassion: Our ministry is also committed to reaching beyond the walls of the church through meaningful service.
One of our ongoing mission projects is collecting lap blankets for cancer patients at the Cancer Center. These blankets offer comfort, warmth, and a tangible reminder that each patient is seen, loved, and prayed for during a difficult season. Every donated blanket represents more than a gift. It is an expression of Christ’s compassion and a reminder that no one has to walk through hardship alone.

LAP BLANKET DRIVE & RECIPE ROUND-UP
Ladies Ministry Missions Project
We are collecting lap blankets for cancer patients at the Cancer Center. Please bring donations of homemade or store bought lap blankets to the Church Office or give them to Sharon. We will collect them all through October then gather them and pray over them at the Potluck & Prayer Walk on Saturday, October 24, 2026.
Recipe Round-Up for the Easy-peasy Event
We are collecting simple, easy-peasy recipes will be put into a cookbook then distributed at the Easy-peasy Event on August 29, 2026. Recipes can be submitted by email to jenniferk@cameronbaptist.com or bring them by the Church Office Monday-Thursday, 8am to 4:30pm.
