Terri McCuiston

Children's Director
What a privilege to share Jesus with boys and girls! When I was growing up, I always loved to babysit but never dreamed I would get to minister to families and children as a lifelong project. God has allowed me to serve on staff here for 26 years and counting. What a blessing!

I grew up at Cameron Baptist Church and directed my first children’s department when I turned 18. It was then that I felt God’s call into the ministry to serve children and their families and surrendered to the ministry. I served as a volunteer children’s director and then went to a part time position here at CBC.  I felt God’s call to serve in a full-time position at another church until I returned in 1997. I have seen Cameron go thru many changes and it was so exciting to see a new children’s area completed in 2003.

I enjoy watching OSU football, and of course my 7 grandchildren. I also love going to the beach and getting away for a few days just relaxing. My favorite scripture to share with you is Luke 10:19 because it shows how mighty our God is and he can conquer any obstacle and it reminds me that living in the country I have the power to overcome serpents and scorpions to which I have to conquer often.

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall be any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19
