Submit a Prayer Request from a web form.

Cameron Baptist Church believes in prayer - its importance and its great power. As a result, we strive to offer intercessory prayer 24 hours a day. Members of our church sign up to pray for one hour at a time. During this time, they pray for those who have requested prayer and send prayer-grams to those for whom they are praying.

If you would like to join in this ministry or have a need for which you would like us to pray, please contact the church at 580-355-4854 or e-mail John Spray.

Five Ways Prayer Can Be Answered

Acknowledge the Holy Spirit in Your Prayers
James 4:1-5. It is the Holy Spirit that enables you not to pray amiss and to ask for what needs to be asked. If you don't have a whole-hearted faith experience, you can't have a good prayer life. A whole-hearted faith experience is with your mind, soul, and body - everything that you are.

Be in Submission to the Father
James 4:6. If you are not humbling yourself, it is difficult for God to use you. He can't use a rebel.

Resist the Devil
James 4:7. The real spiritual warfare is in prayer. The minute you start praying - or think about praying - the devil starts his attack. When you start praying, that's when the phones and the doorbells start ringing and the kids need attention.

Draw Near to God the Father
James 4:8. You have to confess your sins and you will draw near to God. It is those sins that keep you separated from God. If you continue to embrace your sin, it keeps God at a distance.

Forsake Pride
James 4:9,10. If you regard iniquity in your heart, God cannot hear your prayers. Pride keeps us separated. We don't take our sins as seriously as we need to. We sometimes laugh at sin but it is a big deal. If there had been only half a sin, Jesus still would have had to die.
